Painting Flower is fun!
Ever wondered beautiful flowers around you? well there is always something about nature that makes us happy.Look around you whenever you are hanging out with your loved ones or even on the way to work, nature has splendid beautiful scenes and aromas present all the days and nights for our inner happiness. The clouds are always changing patterns and tones ,the greens of the plants and trees ,and so many exciting colors in the butterflies ,insects and other creatures.
When it comes to the real treat for my eyes;its always been flowers.
So i have started my new project of arranging simple step by step guide for every practicing artist and any one who enjoys drawing!
No matter it's a flower or a car or any thing intended to be painted or colored,it's very important to understand it's basic structural design.
So let's get started with few simple details of any flower.
Once you have drawn and redrawn this structure ,it would be very easy for you to draw any flower
After that let's move on to paint different flowers now.Pick up your favorite flower ,for me it's a rose!
For beginners it needs understanding to pick up a point and start sketching,in that case you must start from anywhere you like and continue to follow other points from there.Remember a drawing is just picking up the most important line from the reference to define structure of desired object.
Here is my painting alongwith work in progress images
It's easy! all you need is to get in your garden to capture photographs of flowers you like and then use it as your reference for painting.
Here is the photograph i used from my collection.
you can always make modifications in your compositions
according to your own aesthetic sense.
After drawing outlines applied basic background wash to let the drawing become clear
Starting from lighter tones to gradually getting darker
Always paint the next layer when the previous one is dried up.
